Callian Player is a podcast for your Smartphone or Pocket PC. Callian Player allows you to view channels of programs anytime, anywhere on the go! You can download episodes through the channels you have subscribed and edit or save the files to be viewed over again!

Online search support :

Online search brings you the result that best associates with your keyword. You can subscribe to as many channels as you wish and check the properties of each channel before subscribing. Cancel your search anytime.

Import/Export OPML file :

You can easily import/export OPML files to your Callian Player by going into Menu > OPML from your Podcast Window. Use File Explorer to search existing OPML files to import, or change the name of the file from the list that you wish to change and press save.

Edit channels :

This option allows you to delete the currently subscribed channels and/or run a Sync Check. This feature will also allow you to view properties of each channel.

Configurable news update :

Receive the latest updates from the subscribed channels with configurable news update features. Choose from Update/Update All from the menu. Choosing Update will only update the selected channel whereas in Update All will update the entire channels in your list.

Last 10 Podcasts :

The Last 10 Podcasts stores your 10 recently downloaded Podcast files according to date/time.

FAQ

  • Can Callian Player download a podcast file from the Sync Check channels?
    Yes it can be downloaded. The Sync Check is to help you download files from your PC so it will be no harm to other current activities.
  • The files I have downloaded do not appear in the Library.
    Try refreshing your current page by going into Menu > Refresh. If your files still do not appear then please check the status of your external memory for it may be caused by being inserted.
  • When pressing Done from the File Download screen, the downloaded file automatically plays. Is there any way I can change this option?
    Playback of the file after downloading is for the convenience of the user. Unfortunately, there is no options menu to change this function.
  • It says that the downloaded file cannot be played. What should I do?
    This message appears if your downloaded file is in a different format from what Media Player can play. In this case, you can change the format of the file by using the Callian Retriever.
  • I am trying to download a file by using Episode but there is no response although I am connected to the Internet. What should I do?
    This problem occurs if the podcast file does not exist in your subscribed Channel's Episode List. We have used the RSS Feed icon to illustrate this kind of problem. Please check out the 'Icon Description' section on the user guide document to see more including the icons that illustrate downloadable Audio/Video.
